SvelteKit 3.0.0-next.29 y next.30: tipo Path never, cookies opcionales y fixes de foco

Vercel Labs ships scriptc: TypeScript compiled to a native executable, no JS engine

scriptc (Apache 2.0, experimental) compiles TypeScript into ~370KB native binaries with no Node or V8 inside. Cold start is ~1.78ms versus ~21ms for Bun and ~62ms for Node, and a bare HTTP server idles at 1.9MiB. The catch: compute-heavy code runs ~7.5x slower than Node 24. Typed code compiles statically; any code and npm packages fall back to an embedded QuickJS (~620KB). Watch for UTF-8 strings, reference counting instead of GC, and divergent Object.keys behavior. Worth a close look for CLIs and cold-start-sensitive edge functions.

pnpm 12.7.0: four security fixes, --allow-build and .nvmrc support

Upgrade now: pnpm stops expanding environment variables in a userAgent set in pnpm-workspace.yaml (it leaked secrets to the registry), prevents a bin named like sed from hijacking shims on Nix, stops a storeDir inside the workspace from running lifecycle scripts without approval, and no longer hard-links packages that run build scripts. Plus: pnpm install --allow-build, the global node shim honors .nvmrc/.node-version, publish --publish-wait-timeout, and auto-created pnpm-workspace.yaml from the workspaces field. 11.28.0 shipped for the previous line too.

Safari Technology Preview 253: inline textPath paths, global scroll timelines and network throttling

The first TP after Safari 27 adds the SVG 2 path attribute on <textPath> (text following an inline path with no separate <path>), style-originated scroll timelines that match globally (outside the target hierarchy), several CSS Grid sizing fixes, Intl.PluralRules with BigInt, and network throttling in Web Inspector. Extensions gain the offscreen API.

Also fixed: Server Actions hanging after navigating to PPR pages; experimental custom webpack support was reverted.

Solid 2.0 rc.10: reverse-order onCleanup, timeline records and renamed diagnostic codes

Heads-up if you migrated: onCleanup runs in reverse registration order again (1.x semantics). The compiler's componentNames option becomes sourceNames and the old name now errors, and diagnostic codes were consolidated (WIDE_WRITE → HUGE_FAN_OUT, SERVER_ERROR_SANITIZED). The attribution engine gains create, effect, flush, flight and fallback records for performance tracks, and an async-iterator leak on aborted streams is fixed.
