Qwik 1.20.1: migrate-v2 ahora migra APIs renombradas, tsconfig y Vite 8
Llega junto a wrangler 4.137.0 y @cloudflare/vite-plugin 1.58.0.
Next.js 16.4.0-canary.41: error boundaries survive on-demand prerendering
Two fixes that matter if you're on Cache Components: error boundaries are preserved both in on-demand partial prerenders and in full on-demand prerendering. It also adds experimental custom webpack support and more safety rules around distDir. Still canary, so don't ship it to prod, but it signals where 16.4 is heading.
TanStack Router 1.170.39: fewer redundant link hydration updates
Small but healthy performance release: redundant link hydration updates are avoided. It also carries @tanstack/react-start 1.168.58 and react-start-rsc 0.1.57. If you render pages with lots of <Link>, this kind of fix shows up.
Qwik 1.20.1: migrate-v2 now migrates renamed APIs, tsconfig and Vite 8
The qwik migrate-v2 codemod got serious: it migrates renamed and removed APIs, adjusts tsconfig.json, package.json and Vite 8, adds flags to keep v1 behavior where v2 changed it, and lists what needs manual attention. Also, async functions in useComputed$ are no longer deprecated since they remain supported in v2.
Cloudflare publishes @cloudflare/runtime-types as a standalone package
The runtime type generator that Wrangler and the Cloudflare Vite and Vitest integrations used internally now ships as its own package, so you can share it across your tooling. Cloudflare explicitly warns it is not yet stable for external use and APIs may change without notice. It lands alongside wrangler 4.137.0 and @cloudflare/vite-plugin 1.58.0.
Electron 45.0.0-alpha.11 plus the 44.4.5 / 43.7.5 / 42.11.8 patch batch
Electron 45 alpha 11 carries backported fixes from upstream ANGLE, Chromium, PDFium and V8. Patches for the three supported lines shipped the same day — when you see that pattern, there is almost always an upstream Chromium fix riding along. Update your desktop apps.
Prettier 3.9.9: stops mangling Markdown with dollar signs
Tiny patch, but an annoying one to carry: text containing $ was incorrectly parsed as math syntax in Markdown. If you write docs with prices or shell variables in them, this is your fix.
Notable Trends
Angular and Next are pushing the same concept from opposite ends: first-class error boundaries. Angular turns them into public API with @boundary, Next makes sure they survive on-demand prerendering. Error handling stopped being a framework afterthought.
Tooling is unbundling its internals into public packages: Cloudflare releases its runtime type generator, Qwik turns its migration codemod into something that actually does the work. Less magic hidden inside the CLI, more reusable pieces.
Watch out for Angular 22.2's strictUnclaimedEventNames: it's one of those flags that looks harmless until you turn it on and discover how many output bindings you've been misspelling for months without anyone noticing.
