The live-view framework for Django took 12 advisories in a single day. The story isn't one CVE, it's the pattern. A critical authorization bypass on the WebSocket/SSE mount path, unauthenticated arbitrary module import (CVSS 8.8), IDOR, client mass-assignment of view attributes, unsigned client state restored as trusted, SSE sessions not bound to the authenticated user, and multi-tenant isolation that fails open. If you run it, the realtime transport never went through Django's auth pipeline. Audit before you patch.

Shopify drops React Native and rewrites its apps in Swift and Kotlin

The trigger wasn't only performance but the looming New Architecture refactor plus the fact that a greenfield rewrite no longer costs what it used to.
